Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a full-stack engineer to focus on contributing to APIs and services in a service oriented architecture (SOA). You will have the opportunity to work on multiple components of the backend and frontend of our ad platform. Must be a team player that is hungry to learn and grow in all of their skill sets as well as pick up new ones on the fly. Must have at least 3 years of experience in making full stack contributions to web applications.

AppOnboard is a next-gen platform that powers Full-Fidelity Demos, which allow users to instantly experience an app or game in the highest quality possible before downloading it. AppOnboard enables app and game testing, driving insights to product teams and optimizing app launches and onboarding. The company was founded in late 2016 by Jonathan Zweig, the founding CEO of AdColony (which sold to Opera Software for $350 million).

Contributing to the API gateway and services in a service oriented architecture (SOA)
Working directly with the project manager and engineering team to scope, build, and update products
Building out user interfaces on client-facing analytics products and internal operations tools
Developing, maintaining, and improving backend components of our software stack

Required Language Skills

Required Experience

Three to five years

3+ years contributing to web server technologies using languages such as NodeJS, PHP, Ruby, Python, GoLang, etc
Understanding of API communications and their security ( TLS/SSL ) as well as application layer security
Grasp of passive message queues ( Active Message Queueing is a plus )
Web Sockets are your favorite
Understanding of relational and non-relational databases ( any GraphDB or ElasticSearch is a plus )
Deep understanding of HTML5/CSS3 & related technologies such as CSS preprocessors
Experience using version control such as Git, Mercurial or Subversion
Ability to work on and prioritize multiple assigned projects and tasks
Good communication skills, team player, and strong desire to learn
