Ruffalo Noel Levitz is seeking a self-motivated, results-focused Recruiter in Cedar Rapids, IA.

The Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional and digital sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will promote Ruffalo Noel Levitz’s brand and employee culture as well as maintain a positive relationship with organizations, community leaders and local resources in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa market.


Implement recruiting methods to attract new talent to Ruffalo Noel Levitz
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
Develop a strong network to build and maintain a pipeline of talent for Ruffalo Noel Levitz
Track and analyze recruiting performance metrics to inform talent decisions
Perform administrative duties as required to maintain system accuracy, processes, and metrics
Work with and maintain confidential information to execute company hiring needs
Build strong working relationships with Ruffalo Noel Levitz hiring managers
Serve as a resource for internal employees seeking career change/alternate opportunity

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Licenses/Certifications, Skills and Work Experience:

Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (especially Taleo)
Ability to make independent decisions and set priorities in order to meet hiring deadlines
Effectively manage workload while displaying strong communication skills
Flexibility to accept change and react willingly, appropriately, and in a timely manner
Ability to take direction and receive constructive criticism
Positively represent Ruffalo Noel Levitz in the community as a brand ambassador
Open minded to growth opportunities (i.e. picking up development tasks/skills as time permits)
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
Valid US driver’s license and access to dependable transportation
Willingness to travel as needed (negligible but potentially necessary)
Infrequent light physical effort required
Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level is moderate

Required Experience

One to three years

Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting experience
Two or more years’ experience in a recruiting, staffing or human resources role
Knowledge of general employment laws and practices
