As an ECi Spruce trainer you have the opportunity to contribute positively to the continual growth of our Professional Services Group. With us, you’ll utilize your training and interpersonal skills to help customers develop the knowledge and confidence to use our products to conduct their day to day operations. Trainers act as an integral part of the conversion team in preparing customer’s human resources to go live on Spruce. You can have a valuable and positive impact on the customer’s e-automate onboarding experience. Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following. Responsibilities: Learn and become an expert on the Spruce Software and procedures. Conduct customer end user training on site one on one, in a classroom and online on Spruce software and related products. Additionally, train other internal personnel and partners. Travel to customer locations to deliver training. Assist in the development and documentation of best practice recommendations for common Spruce business processes. Learning and understanding customer processes so you can recommend and train on processes in Spruce to support customer business operations to the extent of the software’s capability. Understand and translate technical information into a training environment for users of various levels. Learn new product offering and functionality as software updates are available. Work independently with a high sense of urgency. Be accessible and available to multiple customers. Overcome constraints to meet established deadlines. Manage multiple training projects at one time. As many as 20 different companies are at various stages of the training process.
One to three years
3+ years prior experience training in classroom, on-on-one and online environments. Using a clear and structured approach that is easy for learners to understand and stay engaged. BA/BS in education, accounting, communication or related field. May substitute education with verifiable vertical specific or relevant work experience. Business process consultation experience preferred. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Strong understanding of small business basic processes and standard accounting principles. Experience with Spruce or equivalent software a plus. Must have initiative to trouble shoot and test internal and customer processes through resolution. Proficient using MS Office. Excellent organizational skills to keep track of multiple customers and multiple stages of conversion. Must be willing to travel.
