Mohamed Salah wins the best player in Africa

Mohamed Salah the Egyptian international player wins the CAF's best player in Africa in 2017. The Egyptian national team couch the Argentinean (Hector Cuper) won also the best couch in Africa and the Egyptian national team won the best team in Africa in 2017.

Salah now has become the second Egyptian player to win this prize after the former player (Mahmoud El-Khatib) who won this prize in 1983. However (Salah) is the first Egyptian to win it since the separation of the CAF prizes from France Football magazine in 1992.

Salah's winning made this prize limited to Arabic players for the second consecutive year after the former winner Reyadh Mehriz from Algeria who won it in 2016.

Salah began his career as a young player in Egyptian team (El Mokawelon El Arab) and played his first match in the Egyptian premier league in 2010 against (El Mansoura team).

Salah then started his international career as a player in many European teams like Basel, Fiorentina, FC Roma, Chelsea, and finally Liverpool FC where he had a great season scoring and making many goals. Salah also had his share with the Egyptian national team qualifying for Russia 2018 world cup and getting the second place in Africa's cup of nations. Congratulations Salah.
